Applications open for Jamestown Foundation’s Young Professionals Program
Hello! My radar has spotted that the applications admission for the 2018-2019 Young Professionals Program of Jamestown Foundation has begun.
This program lasts almost a year (from September to May) and is appropriate for young professionals who are interested in international security. Through their involvement with present and past American policy makers, diplomats and analysts, the participants have the chance to gain knowledge on geographical area or topic that is of particular interest for the United States.
This year’s topic is “Intelligence and Statecraft: Responding to National Security Threats” and the question that the panel has been asked is: “What steps are necessary to turn an idea into policy”?
To be eligible for this program, you have to be:
- Between 21-35 years old;
- A graduate student or somebody who has at least 2 years of professional experience in a field that is relevant to the topic and
- Prepared to meet with your fellow participants one every one or two months for evening discussions that will take place in Washington, D.C.
